The Diamond Challenge, part of the Paul & Linda McConnell Youth Entrepreneurship Initiative and organized by the University of Delaware Horn Program for Entrepreneurship, made it onto a list of the top national competitions for high school entrepreneurs in a recent article published by Influencive.
Here are some nice things contributor Jonathan Maxim had to say about the program:

“The Diamond Challenge provides a unique opportunity for teens to learn about entrepreneurship while putting their ideas into action. While some entrepreneurship programs focus on principles of management, the Diamond Challenge actually focuses on unleashing creativity, encouraging a mindset of abundance and self-determination, and promoting purposeful entrepreneurial action.”

While registration is currently closed for many of the locations covered by this competition, we’re still excited to see the winners of this year’s expanded pool of $100,000 in prize money (from $50,000).
Here’s a look back at past competitions.
