The D.C. Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) has teamed up with Connect.DC to launch All Hands On Tech, a free tech-support pilot for District residents. The initiative’s first installment kicks off this Saturday, Sept. 22, at Anacostia Library from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
OCTO’s Connect.DC was created to make tech more accessible, affordable and easy to use for D.C. residents. At the event, residents can get laptop repairs, virus assistance and smartphone troubleshooting. Technicians from OCTOHelps will be in attendance to lead the repairs.
All Hands on Tech will also take place on Saturday, Sept. 29 at Benning (Dorothy I. Height) Library from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
D.C. residents interested in attending can pre-register here or by texting FIXED to 83224. Proof of residency is required to participate and a Spanish translator will be available at both events.
