If you run — or work for — a Delaware nonprofit that works in reentry management or substance disorder treatment improvement, your organization may be eligible for a portion of more than $200,000 in grant funds from the Delaware Criminal Justice Council (CJC).
The Reentry Case Management Program is for nonprofits that provide direct services to Delaware adults who are reintegrating into the community after incarceration. Deadline is April 8.
The Delaware Criminal Justice and Treatment Improvement Project is for nonprofits that provide services for people with substance abuse disorders. Orgs may apply in two of three categories (one is limited to local government and law enforcement agencies) by May 10. The categories are, as per the CJC’s Request for Proposals:
- Treatment service retention and/or reengagement
- Law enforcement diversion programs and alternatives to incarceration
- Reducing incidence of overdose death and opioid misuse
Eligible organizations may apply online via Egrants. If you are not registered with Egrants, keep in mind that the registration process takes about a week.
