The New York Technology Council came out with a scorecard for each of the candidates running for the Democratic Party’s nomination for Mayor in today’s primary election, based on positions candidates have taken on tech and giving them a grade based on positions found in interviews and on their websites.
The council did not make an endorsement of candidates.
- Christine Quinn, who wants an all-girls STEM school in all boroughs, and man-to-beat Bill de Blasio are both cited as calling for expansion and replication of the Brooklyn Tech Triangle
- Four candidates cite different ways to expand Internet access
- Brooklynites win on social media, with natives de Blasio leading on Twitter and Bill Thompson dominating on Facebook (as of Sept. 3rd)
