Ron Resnick is the executive director of the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance.

Resnick will oversee the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance, a group of more than 200 businesses, including some of the largest in the world, that works to bring blockchain technology to the corporate world. It was started in March of 2017 by East Williamsburg blockchain startup ConsenSys and found immediate interest from the financial sector.

“My focus at the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance will be to drive the further development of Ethereum-based technology best practices, open standards and open-source reference architectures to evolve Ethereum into an enterprise-grade technology,” Resnick wrote in an email to Technical.ly through a spokesperson.

Another ConsenSys company, Gitcoin, will add Eric Berry as its open source sustainability lead. Berry was previously the founder of Code Sponsor, an open source software project. Gitcoin is a company which also works on making open source software work better, through incentivizing a community of people working on it.

“This new position allows me to work on Code Sponsor nearly full-time and continue to find and provide ways to sustain open source,” Berry explained in a Medium post.
