Genspace is hiring a director of science education and a community manager.

If you’re interested in working at a place that is at once on the cutting edge of science but also public facing in a way academia and industry aren’t, Genspace is a good one. For a good idea of what they’re all about, check out our coverage of a talk on the issues of CRISPR there last month.

Upsolve is looking for an engineering lead.

The legaltech startup run by Harvard go-getter Rohan Pavuluri is trying to automate the process of filing for bankruptcy, which involves reams of paperwork and hundreds of dollars in fees for lawyers, both of which work in practice to prevent many people who could benefit from going through the process from doing it. We profiled its engaging cofounder this spring.

Be an account executive for CARTO.

The successful East Williamsburg mapping startup continues hiring, now looking for sales help. The company uses mapping and location intelligence for all sorts of informational purposes in the private sector but also does cool stuff like this SimCity-esque map platform for the city of New York.

Honcker is looking for a marketing VP.

Fresh off a $3.6 million raise, the South Brooklyn-based Honcker is building out its branding, which, if you’ve seen its promotional video, might be a good call (depending on your taste!). The startup is working on making the process of leasing a car way easier, like StreetEasy level.

Feather is looking for a director of marketing.

Another young startup, more marketing help needed. Feather is a furniture rental service for the mobile worker, allowing users to rent (and have delivered) apartment furniture which they can pay for month-to-month. Feather raised $3.5 million this fall.
