For the eighth year in a row the NYU Game Center has commissioned four indie game developers to create new games, which people can check out this Friday before they’re released.

It’s the No Quarter Exhibition, and it’s free and open to the public this Friday in Bushwick.

The four game designers are:

Aureia Harvey

  • Harvey is an artist and game designer who teaches at art schools both in the U.S. and in Europe. According to her site, she’s working in augmented and virtual reality currently.

Droqen (Alexander Martin)

  • Droqen is an indie game designer and the creator of Starseed Pilgrim, “an unforgiving journey that left half of its players lost and disillusioned.”

Kitty Horrorshow

  • Horrorshow is the designer of the horror game Anatomy. An indie developer, her work focuses on “ambiance, architecture, horror, dread, wonder, scale, and the uncanny,” according to the NYU Game Center.

Pietro Righi Riva

  • Righi Riva is a Milan, Italy–based designer with a Ph.D in Interaction Design. He’s the cofounder of the Italian games studio Santa Ragione.

Tickets are free and open to the public with RSVP.
