A chance for some great startup watching in a brand-new space.

Urban-X hosts a showcase of its Greenpoint and other Brooklyn startups Thursday night at its HQ, A/D/O.

“The evening will include a public startup showcase hosted at A/D/O, in tandem with the first Smart Cities NYC Conference,” organizers say. “We’ll celebrate their journey with great music, good friends, and food and drinks.”

We covered Urban-X’s cohort of civic tech–oriented startups last month. The companies include mapping software, smart bicycles and efficient HVAC systems.

The event is free and open to the public.

Smart Cities NYC is a three-day summit of talks and discussions at the Brooklyn Navy Yard about the future of cities and startups.
