Yooooooooo this is a blimp inside a building (!!!)

Move over, quadcopters. New Lab startup Spacial is on that next wave.

Let’s get straight to the good stuff: here’s a video of a blimp inside a building.

The blimp belongs to a company called Spacial, which is based at New Lab, the tech hub located in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.

Spacial makes these blimps, which have a camera attached and can take photos and videos of indoor spaces and events better and safer than a drone would.

The company’s site notes that the blimps can stay in the air for up to three hours, longer than a drone could, and if there’s a power problem, it won’t crash out of the sky and wreck some kid standing beneath it. Instead it will float gently down to the adoring crowd.
