Tinder for blockchain? Hear from Matchpool’s CEO Monday night

I know, I know, one at a time, please. But Tinder for blockchain has some real promise.

Monday night the cofounder of Matchpool, Yonathan Ben Shimon, will be speaking at Greenpoint coworking space (and Technical.ly Brooklyn office!) Pencil Works.

“Our vision is to build a platform for matchmakers by allowing anyone to create their own community ‘pool’ for free and invite their members to their pool,” the company says. “End users of our platform will be able to find connections on the app by joining the pools that best cater to their needs.”

It’s a compelling idea. As dating apps have matured some people are finding the lack of filtering matches in them to be too random and time consuming.
