If you need a quiet space for your team to get away from your office and meet for a few, or if your team is traveling and you need a temporary office of your own, Montreal-based Breather is setting up sites in various cities to cover that need. It just opened its first site in Brooklyn, just north of McCarren Park at The Yard coworking space.
Check out the space at 33 Nassau on Breather. It’s $25 per hour and good for six people. It’s only available during regular business hours. Payments are all handled through the Android or iOS apps.
“Our goal is to be where our members are,” Breather’s Lee Moulton wrote in an email. “We had a ton of inbound interest from Brooklyn residents, and are excited to provide them with the first of many Brooklyn spaces in one of its most thriving neighborhoods.”
Another option for space in Brooklyn? Every Brooklyn Public Library location has at least one meeting room available, for free, during regular hours. You have to call to book them at most locations, except at the Main Branch. You can schedule time in the meeting rooms off Grand Army Plaza in the Info Commons online with your library card.
Breather is currently hiring for a location launch coordinator in New York.
