Team working to end ATM fees raises $50K [Startup Roundup]

Who’s getting money?

FreeATM raised $50,000 on an offered $750,000, in a combined debt and equity round, according to an SEC filing. We covered the advertising-driven ATM machine in a roundup in November.

IR Media Ventures, the dad blog owner that we covered last week, updated its most recent filing with the SEC, increasing it by $27,000, to just under $700,000.

Who’s making moves?

Cord now has an Android version out. The all voice messaging app raised $1.7 million, which it announced in July.

Operation:CMYK has now released its third app, Phone Tag! for iOS. We wrote about the Gowanus-based agency in February.

In a follow-up to last week’s item about lettrs’ new feature, Stamps, William Conklin, the company’s creative director, emailed us say that Stamps launched strongly. Writing that it saw “over 50K downloads and over 25K registrations with over 10 million stamp impressions tracked.”

Who’s getting buzz?

Toymail got listed in a roundup of recommended digital tech for kids in the New York Times.

A new local startup for live music fans, called appLOUD, just got featured in Erica Berger’s 3460 Miles, the NYC-London newsletter.

In a holiday season post on CNN Money, two local companies, Parcel and Shyp, get listed as options to ease your holiday hassles. We’ve covered both previously. Some investor guy thought it was cool:
