The mobile photo booth company based in Bushwick has developers on staff who can hack together any photo experience you can dream up.

The Bosco is a photo booth wired for instantly publishing party photos to social media. We feel like we’ve come across about a bajillion of these types of photo booths this year. The company believes it’s different because it has in-house engineers and developers who can turn ideas for any kind of photo booth into reality.

They recently made their first GIF photo booth (which turns four photos into a continuous animation) and they’ve also made an aura photo booth for eMusic at the Pitchfork Music Festival. That project involved building a custom hand-plate for reading your mood.

All of this is according to a new video from ForbesAlso in that video, you learn that “Bosco” was the brand name of both the first successful photo booth and the name of a founder’s family cat, which escaped the day the two cofounders moved into their first office, and never returned. Bosco watches over them.

All Bosco photo units are assembled in Bushwick. The company is launching a new video-based brand, NC17, soon, as well as different sizes and models of The Bosco.

The Bosco rents for a starting price of $2,950 a night.
