A show that went up through May and June in Bushwick’s SLAG Gallery is now showing in four different galleries in Grand Rapids, Mich.

The show is called “Preliminary Studies: RSI – T,” which stands for “Repetitive Strain Injury – Technology.”

Naomi Lev, the curator in Grand Rapids, said the show is inspired by the way that repetitive uses of technology changes our bodies over time, in a report on WZZM 13 News.

Lev said she was interested in bringing Brooklyn works to Michigan because of a personal interest she’d developed in the topic, after realizing that using technology so much was starting to hurt her.

A panel discussion on July 2 explored, “How Art Describes Evolution as it’s Happening.”
