Not-A-Camera: wearable tech jewlery offering from Prospect Heights artist

The first hipster chic spy camera is now available on Etsy.

Not-A-Camera showing its hidden camera. A creation by Olivia Barr. Available on Etsy.

NYC Resistor member and artist, Olivia Barr, has created Not-A-Camera. It looks like a piece of 2D wood jewelry with an image of a camera etched into it.

Except, it also has an actual camera built in. The imagery is etched into the wood, but tucked into a pocket in the wood hides a camera that can take 3.5MB photos with 8GB of onboard memory.

Buy yourself a Not-A-Camera on Etsy for $150.

Barr lives in Prospect Heights. She took part with the NYC Resistor partnership with the Brooklyn Ballet, which we wrote about here. The first Not-A-Camera was given to her grandma, as a way to easily take photos, which is something she has come to like to do in later years.
