“It’s kind of fun to hack together something awesome,” BioLite co-founder Jonathan Cedar said, of building the giant firepit that would also power the Christmas Tree by the Manhattan Bridge, in a story from the New York Daily News.

The oversized version of the company’s signature camp stove can be seen under construction in the photo above. The true party around the pit takes place on Thursday.
