The technology sector’s progress in New York, now the city’s second largest industry, under the auspices of Governor Cuomo’s NYWorks initiative, was the focus of a new report from CUNY, according to the New Labs website.
Some notes about two major Brooklyn Navy Yard tenants from the video:
- Steiner Studios has a $137 million expansion underway, where it will move in to a building that has been vacant for 30 years, the Naval Hospital Annex.
- New Lab has 84,000 square feet of space devoted to design and prototyping of products.
- The goal of New Lab is to create a model for a sustainable industrial park.
