Five companies will be chosen to participate in the program, which runs January 12-April 6, 2022. Selected cohort members each receive a $50,000 investment, courtesy of financial support from the Abell Foundation, as well as free office space, access to advisors and mentors and weekly instructional programming.

This year’s program will be run by Brendan McAdams, a cofounder of healthcare startup Expertscape.com and operator of sales consulting and coaching agency Kiinetics. He is the cohost of the “Let’s Chat Sales” podcast, and author of “Sales Craft: Proven Tips,
Practices and Ideas to Advance Your Sales Success.”

“The ETC with its AccelerateBaltimore program has a proven track record of a supporting environment where entrepreneurial ideas and innovation connect,” said Colin Tarbert, CEO of the Baltimore Development Corporation, which operates ETC, in a statement. “It’s crucial to support entrepreneurs who are innovative, competitive and passionate with access to capital and mentorship to bring their ideas to fruition to bolster the city’s economy and create job opportunities.”
