bwtech@UMBC’s Cyber Incubator is one of the area’s longest-serving hubs for entrepreneurs building companies around technology that protects and maintains data and IT systems. Now the University of Maryland, Baltimore County-affiliated incubator has a job opening for a leader of that program.

The Cyber Incubator coordinator will “help to provide a friendly, responsive and supportive incubator environment to assist tenants and affiliates in building and growing their businesses,” a description states. The role is described as a project management and operations role. This involves leading on business incubation, marketing and communications, and administrative support for clients, sponsors and partners. This professional will also assist with putting on events. The role takes the lead on incubator programs like the CYNC program that the university partners on with Northrop Grumman, meetings of a cyber advisory board, and helping companies connect with UMBC interns.

Impact Hub Baltimore is hiring for the newly created position of operations coordinator to provide a welcoming tone and manage systems of the social impact-focused coworking community. The team is seeking leaders to “create a welcoming and reliable environment for visionary people to work, meet, and connect.”

The Station North-based space is seeking a professional who is organized, friendly and can help to run the platforms that serve as the backbone of its operations. This individual will serve as a connecting point for the community, and supports the administration of offices, coworking memberships, and event space rentals.

The role is being envisioned as two part-time positions, but leaders may be open to considering a full-time role.

“It would be great to find someone with experience in hospitality, operations, or events management who wants to work in a mission-driven community,” Impact Hub Executive Director Michelle Geiss said. “We have an incredible team right now, and would love for someone to join in July.”
