Harbor East-based Medifast hired a talent leader to join its executive team: Claudia Greninger is becoming the healthy living company’s new EVP of human resources.
In the role, Greninger will be responsible for developing the company’s talent management strategy, including recruitment, succession planning and employee development and retention. The publicly traded company counted more than 400 employees in 2018, and is planning to continue to add following 10 straight quarters of revenue growth, per a press release.
“Claudia joins us at a critical time, as the company continues to grow and expand into new markets,” said Medifast CEO Dan Chard in a statement. “I am confident her passion, expertise and experience will be instrumental in supporting our employees across the globe.”
Greninger previously worked at Laureate Education, the higher education company located nearby in Harbor East. Over more than 20 years, she has also worked at Johnson & Johnson and Citigroup.
Protenus is focusing on customers and compliance with a pair of new positions.
The Fells Point-based healthcare analytics firm said Amy Much is joining in the role of VP of legal. Over more than 20 years, Much worked at Under Armour, Prime Retail and Verizon Business in legal roles focusing on global compliance, risk mitigation and commercial law.
Brittany Keller joined the company as chief customer officer. Working at local tech companies including Yet Analytics and AOL over 15 years, Keller has focused on customer experience and go-to-market strategy.
“Our team strives to exceed our customers’ expectations while ensuring a culture of compliance,” Protenus CEO Nick Culbertson said in a statement. “We are excited to leverage Amy and Brittany’s incredible industry experience as we continue to prioritize the needs of our customers.”
The hiring comes as the company continues growth, which makes a platform to provide visibility for healthcare systems into how data is being used. In August, it announced a $17 million Series C round.
Mark Eddy joined Inner Harbor-based digital marketing firm R2i as VP of channel partnerships and strategic alliances.
Eddy brings 15 years of experience building partnerships with technology vendors. Most recently, he worked as partner sales manager at Adobe.
He’s also a familiar face to R2i, where the leadership team has worked with him for many years, including as a partnership manager for Marketo.
“During that period, he created successful results for our clients,” R2i Chief Sales Officer Kelly Kennedy said in a statement. “His vast experience and track record make him a great fit for R2i and our clients as we continue to grow.
The company also has partnerships with Adobe, Acquia, Sitecore and Yext. Eddy will look to build on these relationships.
