This new Under Armour lookbook is unapologetically Baltimore

Shot by local photographer Devin Allen, the photos are meant to promote a fashionably chunky new shoe, the UA Forge 96.

A virtual lookbook showing off Under Armour’s latest sneaker line provides a view of Baltimore through the lens of Devin Allen.
The Baltimore photographer — whose work has captured Baltimore on the cover of Time and in his book, A Beautiful Ghetto — shot the collection to show off UA’s trendily chunky Forge 96, as well as the city’s art scene.

“Baltimore is a hidden gem and we wanted to shine a light on a different side to our city, while using my life as a local artist as inspiration to guide us,” Allen said in a statement. “Every location chosen is where I live, socially hang, and create amongst my peers. The models are those who look like friends and creators I interact with. Overall, it was inspired by a day-in-life of this unique community captured by our in-house creative squad at UA.”
The UA Forge 96, which drops today, is a new lifestyle sneaker from the Baltimore-based brand. It combines a ’90s look with contemporary materials, and is very on-trend. Who knew UA was so ahead of the curve? 🙂
