These 9 companies are hiring right now and here are the jobs you can apply for IRL at NET/WORK 2018

Don't sleep on these opportunities all in one place, on one day: Baltimore Studios on Thursday, March 15!

People gettin' after the jobs at NET/WORK Baltimore 2017.

So many jobs up for grabs at this years NET/WORK Baltimore, the area’s largest, realest tech jobs fair. (Yes, the realest.)

It’s on Thursday, March 15, from 5-8 p.m. at Baltimore Studios.

Tickets ($5 - $10)

But it’s so much more than just a jobs fair. Let us count the ways:

  1. Get your resume reviewed by University of Baltimore, onhand to get tyour paper profile as tight as your handshake.
  2. Professional headshots, so you can scrap that weak selfie you took in front of a graffiti wall (nice try, though!).
  3. Professional Development so you can get your LinkedIn reviewed by Mike Shelah Consulting  to enhance your chances of landing that gig you’ve always wanted as well as get the best interviewing and hiring tips from Mindgrub Human Resource Manager Jonalyne Walker.
  4. Happy Hour so you can end your day with a drink and appetizers. Yummy!

So, bottom line, for a few bucks, you get professional development opportunities, the chance to meet top employers and the people who make the hiring decisions. You’ll save a lot of time, as there will be no need to draft a customized personal statement for each company you visit. You’ll be able to tell them why you wish to work for them, and you’ll have the chance to sell your (wonderful) self.

Our exhibitors send their managers to carry out onsite interviews. Don’t wait for someone to call you for an interview. Get your ticket for NET/WORK Baltimore and give off a first impression that will make for a lasting career.

Enough chit chat. Here’s who will be there:

The hiring companies run the gamut, sector-wise.

  • From digital and web development agencies to financial services, as well as artificial intelligence, health sciences and many more. We’ve got you covered.

Technical and non-technical roles are up for grabs.

  • There’s a lot of developer gigs here but it’s not just technical roles. Surveyed exhibitors say they’re hiring for UX designers, project management, business development and operations roles, too. Social and marketing are also welcome.

What’s the average salary range for these open positions?

  • The bulk of them range from $51,000 to $80,000, but entry-level and exec-level salaries are also represented in the survey data.

Even if you’re not sure if you are actually looking for a new job, Thursday’s event is the place for you to start those connections for future employment.
