The Baltimore Hackathon returns this weekend, with a new civic track and space at Open Works to tinker on hardware projects.

Along with getting heads down on a project, the hackathon is also a chance to see what’s happening in the Baltimore tech community. During the event, a panel of technologists will take some time to look at the big picture.

The talk, dubbed the “The Future of Innovation in Baltimore,” runs from 1–2:30 p.m. Saturday at Impact Hub. It’s free and open to the public.

Panelists include:

  • Luke Cooper, founder of Fixt
  • Keisha Reed, founder of K. Reed Digital
  • Brit Johnson, software quality analyst at No.Inc
  • McKeever Conwell II, deal team coordinator at TEDCO
