There’s innovation coming to how fans can watch lacrosse. Fittingly, it’s originating in Baltimore.
Loyola University Maryland’s season opener against the University of Virginia on Feb. 11 will be a top 15 matchup. It will also be the first lax game to be streamed on Twitter, thanks to a partnership between Twitter and Campus Insiders, the broadcast partner of the NCAA’s Patriot League.

It’s another aggressive move in live-streaming sports from Twitter, which made waves when it won NFL streaming rights last year, then signed on with Major League Baseball and the NHL.
