Hopefully you’ve already heard, but Baltimore Innovation Week 2016 presented by 14 West is happening Sept. 23-Oct. 1.

To kick things off, we’re excited to bring back the 4th annual Baltimore Innovation Awards. In the past, the celebration of nominees has been a small part of a larger event (Beta City in 2015, Innovation Celebration in 2014 and ’13). The awards honor some of the best and brightest in the Baltimore tech and innovation community so it should be its own celebratory thing.

The team at Technical.ly is excited to share that that’s exactly what we’re doing this year and we’ve partnered with the folks at Innovation Village to make it happen.

Join us to close #BIW16 on Friday, Sept. 30 at MICA for a celebration of epic proportion: fun tech to play with, live entertainment, an inclusive awards ceremony (we’ll be bringing back all our past winners!), food, drinks and wonderful people!

In the meantime, we want to hear from you as to who is deserving of being nominated for one of our 13 categories.

  • Who had a big impact in the past year?
  • What individuals greatly impact the future and growth of the region?
  • What products shone light on the creative talent that exists in Baltimore?

Give it some thought.

Now, this is your chance to submit nominees for each category before the finalists are announced. Submit your nominations by Wednesday, Aug. 17 for a chance to be selected!
