Fall events are picking back up. Amid the hackathons and roadshows, web devs get a day to themselves at WordCamp Baltimore.
The daylong event that’s focused on WordPress is set for Saturday, Sept. 12, at the University of Baltimore’s William H. Thumel Sr. Business Center. As of Thursday morning, about 30 tickets remained.

WordCamps are run by volunteers from the WordPress community around the country. This is the fourth edition in Baltimore.
While the overarching themes are left within WordPress itself, there are plenty of topics. The day is made up of talks fired off two-at-a-time. As always, the titles are full of intrigue, like Chris Ford’s “10 Design Lessons from John Waters Films” and Dustin Yoxall’s “Let the Robots Win.” And we assume Sang-Min Yoon’s “Nobody Wants a Slow Website” will be a uniter.
The talks are followed at 4:30 p.m. by a panel on business and freelancing that brings everyone together before the post-event party at The Waterfront Hotel in Fells Point.
