“Onshore” IT and software development firm Chetu opened a Baltimore office earlier this year, a company official confirmed.
The company opened an office at 400 E. Pratt St. That’s the same Inner Harbor building that houses R2integrated as well as Chick-fil-A and Shake Shack, among other spots. The company has “several employees, including project managers and technical architects,” Bhartendu Sharma, vice president of operations, said in an emailed response to questions from Technical.ly Baltimore.
The company, which has 11 offices, “works with startups by offering product life cycle management services and being a back-end software development partner to companies who need technology innovations to grow.” Specifically, he said the company has experience in .NET, Java, iOS, Android and NodeJS.
Sharma said the company saw Baltimore as having “prolific growth in the start-up technology sector.”
“The company looked to broaden its global model to have a local presence in booming technology markets,” Sharma said.
The Plantation, Fla.-based company has offices in India, Las Vegas, Dallas, Nashville, Amsterdam, Chicago and Middleton, Wis.
