Listen to testimony in favor of state Open Data Policy [AUDIO]

Three supporters of open government data testified this week in favor of the Open Data Policy currently being considered by the Maryland state senate.

  • Colin Drane, CEO of SpotCrime.com
  • Beth Blauer of Socrata, whose software is used by the City of Baltimore to power its open data portal
  • Rebecca Williams of the Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit Sunlight Foundation, which advocates for open data and government transparency
