‘Invest more effectively in Baltimore’s internal talent’: designer Jessica Watson

Jessica Watson.

Midway through her 12-city tour of coworking spaces throughout the U.S., designer Jessica Watson has come up with one big lesson for Baltimore.

It’s time “we┬áinvest more effectively in the internal talent we have, not just tech but social businesses.”

That’s what Watson, founder of Fells Point-based graphic design and marketing company JWatson Creative, told CityBizList in a recent interview.

Watson has been traveling around to other coworking spaces to get a feel for how other design communities work together, as well as figure out “how different surroundings fuel how and where I work.”
