Day of Foster.ly: RSVP for startup and investment conference in Arlington

With nearly 400 people already registered, a few weeks out from the Day of Foster.ly on May 4. It's one of the premier collaborative entrepreneurship events of the year, and it's something startups should consider attending.

With nearly 400 people already registered, a few weeks out from the Day of Foster.ly on May 4. It’s one of the premier collaborative entrepreneurship events of the year, and it’s something startups should consider attending.

We have a few deadlines approaching, including several tomorrow, April 11:

The Startup Showcase wraps up the day’s activities, and it’s when attendees can grab a drink and catch up with other attendees while learning about with many of the region’s best startups. With room for more than 100 startups, we have a have a few more spots remaining.

The schedule for the Day of Foster.ly includes: 

  • A keynote by legendary tech journalist and AllThingsD founder Walt Mossberg
  • A track for UX/UI/Development
  • A startup showcase featuring 75+ regional startups
  • Community sourced workshops
  • Multiple panels
  • Experience chats (15-minute talks by serial entrepreneurs)
  • Media match (where entrepreneurs pitch journalists from TechCrunch, the Washington Post, bisnow, AllThingsD, Technically Baltimore and more.)
  • Free photography head shots for attendees’ websites
  • An expo highlighting tools that can help you run a business
  • A job fair for developers and designers
  • A pitch improvement event (Dolphin Tank), in collaboration with SpringBoard Enterprises (with prizes)
