Breakfast with Matt Wallaert, Bing employee and behavioral psychologist [Events]

Will somebody please reinvent transit?
Full disclosure: Technically Baltimore works from Betamore occasionally. Also, Technically Baltimore is the organizer of the BmoreTech Meetup.

We tell people often to stock up on Red Bull, but this is one of those weeks you’ll need it. Two hackathons, one TechBreakfast, an entire conference dedicated to information architecture, a crash course on GIS mapping, a crash course on finding a cofounder and a breakfast with a Bing behavioral psychologist.

Finding and Evaluating a Cofounder: Cofounder and CEO of CoFoundersLab, Shahab Kaviani, will lead a course on evaluating your strengths and weaknesses as a startup founder so you have better success at picking a complementary business partner. Tuesday, Apr. 2, 7 p.m. Betamore, 1111 Light St., Federal Hill, Baltimore city. RSVP. $15.

NoVa TechBreakfast: Another installment of the popular, monthly TechBreakfast Meetup. EasyWebContent, which Technically Baltimore has covered, will be one of the startups presenting. Wednesday, Apr. 3, 8 a.m. Microsoft Technology Center, 12012 Sunset Hills Rd., Reston, Va. RSVP. FREE.

IA Summit 2013: The annual Information Architecture Summit sets up camp at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront hotel from April 3 through April 7. For anyone interested in how people find and interact with information of all stripes on the web, this is the conference to attend. Watch gb.tc’s Baltimore Weekly episode with conference co-chair Kevin Hoffman and speaker Lesley HumphreysWednesday, Apr. 3 through Sunday, Apr. 7. Baltimore Marriott Waterfront, 700 Aliceanna St., Harbor East, Baltimore city. Tech and Social Change Meetup: Nonprofits fond of data should mark this on their calendars. The topic of the evening is mapping and GIS, and speaker Maggie Cawley of Go Global GIS, LLC will offer a primer on which tools to use to begin mapping data. Thursday, Apr. 4, 6:30 p.m. Village Learning Place, 2510 St. Paul St., Charles Village, Baltimore city.
