While people turn their noses up at Baltimore being a hub for tech entrepreneurship, the city has more going for it than people realize, says local web developer Mike Subelsky.
According to the unofficial report card for Baltimore’s tech community posted on his personal blog, Charm City is the place to be to find strong tech founders, excellent universities from which to recruit local talent, a deluge of tech events and “motivated champions” of the city’s startup scene.
Read Subelsky’s “Scorecard for Baltimore’s startup community.”
Subelsky drew inspiration for his report card from a blog post by venture capitalist Mark Suster, who outlines how people can build successful startup communities in cities outside of Silicon Valley.
