Greater Baltimore Technology Council board meeting: GBTC’s September board meeting will take place at Venable on Pratt Street in the Inner Harbor. In-person and by-phone registration is available, and the meeting will last two hours Tuesday morning. Tuesday, Sept. 11, 8 a.m. Venable, 750 E. Pratt St., Inner Harbor, Baltimore city. RSVP. FREE.

Columbia TechBreakfast: The second installment of the Columbia TechBreakfast takes place this Thursday, with a demo from sickness-forecasting startup SickWeather in addition to five other area startups. Thursday, Sept. 13, 8 a.m. Loyola University Maryland, Columbia campus, 8890 McGaw Rd., Columbia, Howard County.
