Weizi Li is assistant professor in the Min H. Kao Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Tennessee. He was Michael Hammer Postdoctoral Fellow at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and he received his PhD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has also spent time at Disney Research, Lenovo Research, National University of Singapore, and George Mason University. He is passionate about leveraging machine learning and simulation to design and develop elements of future cities. His current focus is transportation autonomy and urban mobility.
