Maria Eberhart is a reporter for Technical.ly, where she covers Maryland’s rural-urban digital divide among other tech and entrepreneurship topics. She joined Technical.ly in 2025 as a corps member in the Report for America program. Before joining the newsroom, Eberhart worked as an editorial assistant at Pitchfork, handling administrative responsibilities while also pitching album reviews. She also previously interned at the Baltimore Sun, where she covered breaking news and wrote feature stories about Charm City’s art scene. Eberhart graduated from the University of Southern California in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism.
