Coworking space 1313 Innovation is teaming up with the University of Delaware’s Horn Program in Entrepreneurship to help entrepreneurs ease the stress of launching a startup.
As part of the space’s 1313 Learns series, University of Delaware Associate Professor and Director of Graduate Programs for the Horn Program for Entrepreneurship Tony Middlebrooks will host a workshop on design thinking on Wednesday, May 17, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The goal of the event is for business owners to evaluate the potential of their companies.
Design thinking is a process that combines creative and critical thinking to solve problems and achieve goals. The key is to focus on the solution, rather than the problem. In real world situations, organizations use design thinking to engage customers and identify opportunities.
The workshop, which will take place at 1313 Innovation, is free for members, while non-members will be charged a $10 admission fee.
