Safeguard Scientifics invested with 5 major banks in this $30M Series E

It's Safeguard's second time investing in New York City-based fintech company Transactis.

In August 2014, Safeguard Scientifics led New York City fintech company Transactis’ $11 million Series D.
Eighteen months later, the Radnor-based venture firm has again invested in the company, this time with five major U.S. banks, in a $30 million Series E. Safeguard’s co-investors are Capital One, Fifth Third, TD, PNC and Wells Fargo.
Safeguard CEO Stephen Zarrilli and partner Phil Moyer are both board members of the electronic billing company.
