DMV Startup wants to make a YouTube channel for all things #dctech

Want to create your own YouTube show? Brandon T. Luong is building a platform for that.

Brandon T. Luong has a lot of ideas about how the D.C. tech ecosystem could be improved. Most recently this has led Luong, an organizer of the DMV Startup Meetup group, to create a YouTube channel for DMV Startup content.
Luong told Technical.ly he envisions the channel, very generally, as a place “where you can go watch startup stuff.” What kind of startup stuff, you ask? Loung, who tends to think big, seems to envision a handful of made-for-YouTube shows — for example a newscast like DCTech Minute, or a series where a host visits different startup offices and checks out the cool perks. This one, Luong said, could be called “Startup Cribs,” a la MTV.
While Luong told Technical.ly that he’s talking with a few people interested in creating some content for the channel, he himself is more the idea guy on this one. As of writing there is just one video published to the channel: footage from Luong’s talk at the November edition of FuckUp Nights DC.

Interested in creating your own YouTube show about the D.C. tech scene? Now there’s a platform for that, ready to host your content.
Just remember — YouTube fame does not necessarily equal financial success.
