Ready your concept and make sure you’re well rested — a Startup Weekend DC Global Startup Battle event will be held Nov. 13-15 at cove in Chinatown.
Startup Weekend is a 54-hour event beginning with Friday night concept pitches and ending with Sunday night demos. The idea is that “participants create working startups during the event and are able to collaborate with like-minded individuals outside of their daily networks.”
The upcoming Startup Weekend is being held as part of the Global Startup Battle (GSB) taking place during Global Entrepreneurship Week. Over 200 events will take place in cities around the world. The top three winning teams at Startup Weekend DC will move on to the regional finals of the GSB. Here’s how the event went down last year.
