These are in addition to the Thursday morning visit by Twitter cofounder Biz Stone to the Free Library of Philadelphia, where he’ll have a conversation with Technical.ly Philly editor Christopher Wink.
This week: Build education apps, learn about entrepreneurship at a women-focused conference and participate in the making of a 3D video game. There’s also another (free) female-focused event this Thursday at First Round Capital: it focuses on how to get funding for your venture. It’s hosted by At Media Design and Plum Alley. We Own It Summit: Philly’s Alliance of Women Entrepreneurs helped organized a women’s entrepreneurship conference that features an angel investing bootcamp and panels with speakers from around the country. Little Berlin present INTERFACE: This art exhibit, which will be documented in the form of a 3D video game, features “a virtual reality game, a character creation station, a recording room, a full motion controlled fighting game, and a destructible subway station print ad.” PHL Collective head Nick Madonna is participating in the exhibit.
