Central High School robotics team gets $9k in support

The RoboLancers, Central High School's student-run robotics team, were in danger of disappearing because of massive budget cuts to the Philadelphia School District, but the scrappy team is still going strong.

The RoboLancersCentral High School‘s student-run robotics team, were in danger of disappearing because of massive budget cuts to the Philadelphia School District, but the scrappy team is still going strong.

The team received several grants to support its 2013-2014 season:

The team, led by Philly’s “Geek of the YearDan Ueda, will also hold its annual Philly Robotics Expo for students in April during Philly Tech Week.
