Crowdfunding of the Week is a regular series highlighting the technology, creative and innovation crowdfunding campaigns in Baltimore that might be worth your support. This week’s project comes from Rally.org. See other Crowdfundings of the Week here.
At the Digital Harbor Foundation‘s MakerCamp for kids between 7 and 17, students made objects using 3D printers, developed their own video games and built a quadcopter.
More than 80 percent of the roughly 90 students who attended this summer’s camp did so on full or partial scholarships.
To double attendance next summer, the Digital Harbor Foundation is now raising $20,250, which breaks down to about $35 per day per student.
