News from Sherpaa, Etsy, Hatch, the Made In NY Media Center and a bunch of nonfounders on Brooklyn startup staff.

Tangeez, the maker of tangible pixels, sort of giant glowing building blocks, is three days from the end of their crowdfunding campaign with a bit less than $7,000 to go.

Who’s making moves?

The Made In New York Media Center held its first new member orientation this week. The center will also host classes from General Assembly. Technically Brooklyn was there as, full disclosure, it will be in its first class of members. Some members will begin moving in next week, with official opening coming Nov. 1st.

Sherpaa is now helping Etsy to cover the healthcare of its employees, according to a tweet from the health service’s startup’s cofounder. We speculated that new federal health laws may help the company attract business.

Makeably became Hatch with a new set of features.

Who’s getting buzz?
