iMomentous: mobile recruitment platform named Best Unknown Business in America

iMomentous won a $40,000 PR campaign from PR firm Gregory FCA and $10,000 in cash. Founded in 2010, the company has more than 100 customers, including Hearst Corporation and QVC, that use its mobile platform to recruit and retain employees.

iMomentous, the Horsham-based mobile recruitment platform, beat out more than 50 businesses from around the country in Safeguard Scientifics‘ and Gregory FCA‘s “Best Unknown Businesses in America” contest, according to a release.

iMomentous won a $40,000 PR campaign from PR firm Gregory FCA and $10,000 in cash, but gave $30,000 of the PR campaign to second place winner to Bridgeway Academy. Founded in 2010, the company has more than 100 customers, including Hearst Corporation and QVC, that use its mobile platform to recruit and retain employees.

The company, which had a staff of 14 in March, received $250,000 in funding from Benjamin Franklin Technology Partners this February. Cofounder Mahe Bayireddi leads the company. He previously cofounded couponing app Snip Snap.

Second place went to Bridgeway Academy, a Lehigh Valley-based company that provides home schooling programs to families.
