As a new addition to the team, Gryga will help managing partner Kerry Rupp run the Philadelphia program and overall DreamIt operations, Rupp said. She is currently mentoring a company in the DreamIt New York cycle.

Gryga, who lives in Villanova, was previously the CEO of FashInvest, a business platform dedicated to growing the fashion and retail community. She is also the executive director of the Mid-Atlantic Angel Group, which is based in the Navy Yard and manages two angel funds.

And, while we’re on the subject, a friendly reminder: the deadline to apply for DreamIt’s fall program is this Friday. DreamIt will accept 15 companies, including five led by minoritiesApply HERE.
