The Monday after the Broad Street Run may be a bit of a struggle for the runners and revelers who participated, but it’s time to down some electrolytes and wake up.

It’s the first full week in May and there are a lot of new tech events — which don’t involve running — to get out to.

This week: Three new startups demo at the monthly Philly Tech Meetup, the Rick Rasansky subjects himself to Q&A and developers spend a weekend making apps to improve education.

Philly Tech Meetup: Three new startups will demo at Quorum this month, including familiar faces Interact, RezScore and SocialShows from the Novotorium crew. Wednesday, 6:30pm-8:30pm. Quorum, University City. Free. RSVP.

7 start ups, 4 wives, 1 entrepreneur: Serial entrepreneur Rick Rasansky will participate in an in-depth Q&A using regionally-based online feedback application Yorn. Venturef0rth will provide the brews. Thursday, 6 pm – 8 pm. Venturef0rth, Callowhill. FREE. RSVP.

Philadelphia Education Hackathon: From Friday to Sunday, developers will build education applications with the option to take advantage demo access to Jarvus Innovation’s SLATE education management system. Friday, 6:30 pm-Sunday, 5:00 pm. 55 N. 22nd St. $10. RSVP.
