Update: Edited Hive76 event.
I hope you left next weekend open, Philadelphia, because our event calendar should give you plenty to do this Saturday.
First, you can head to the hometown of our very Brian James Kirk for BarCamp Harrisburg 2. It’s Technically not Philadelphia, but the attendee list tell us that several people are making the trip.
Though if you don’t feel like spending a lot of time on the turnpike, stay local and help Hive76 make a video game in three hours. But if your weekend is already stacked, head to Center City to discuss the city’s burgeoning social entrepreneurship community.

All events listed on the event calendar are free to attend. Be sure to check our complete calendar for more.
Saturday,  April 10th – Hive 76 is taking part in an international game jam with its Three Hour Game Jam, where developers all around the world have three hours to make a small game based on a mystery topic to be revealed the day of. We dig events that actually produce something, and the Hive (not GameDev.net, mind you) is giving away memberships as prizes. 5:00 p.m. Callowhill. INFO. [view more events]
Saturday, April 10th – If there is one thing Technically Philly can never turn down, it’s an unconference. And maybe Yuengling. Go westward, my friends, to the BarCamp Harrisburg 2. Only 32 tickets are left so you’ll have to hurry. 9:00 a.m. Harrisburg. REGISTER [view more events]
Tuesday, April 6th – In case you missed it, Philly is taking this whole social entrepreneurship thing rather seriously. Come explore the next level of the conversation at NetTuesday’s meetup, Social Entrepreneurs, the Social Web and Social Change. Speaking will be Good Company Ventures’ Garrett Melby and Blake Jennelle, founder of Missioneurs. 6:00 p.m. Center City East. REGISTER. [view more events]
If you have an event that you think we should be listing, email us or fill out our submission form for best results. We promise that no submission falls in to the contact form netherworld.
