That Minecraft expo that set a Guiness World Record in Montco last year is happening again this weekend at the Greater Philadelphia Convention Center in Oaks, Pa.
Across four stages, the two-day Minefaire convention promises VR demos, appearances from well-known Minecraft YouTubers and a costume contest. Plus, a showcase of local educators using the video game in their classrooms.

“Minefaire is a chance for parents to connect with their kids through their favorite game and have a blast,” said Chad Collins, one of the Bucks County-based dads who founded the fair. “We were determined to create a one-of-a-kind Minecraft experience you won’t find at home.”
Philly is Minefaire’s third stop this year, after runs in D.C. and Charlotte, N.C.
