Freshly rebranded Think Company (the design shop formerly known as Think Brownstone) is kicking off 2017 with a third studio location: a 7,200-square-foot spot in the Philadelphia Building which houses 30 staffers.
The new spot is located two blocks from the company’s other Center City location on the corner of 15th and Chestnut streets. (Its other, flagship location is in Conshohocken.)
Seems like Think Company is doubling down on the city, after opening its first office within city limits in the summer of 2014.
“We’ve always been attracted to distinctive, open spaces with historical significance,” says Think Company’s executive VP Russ Starke, “so this new spot is not only in keeping with our culture, it allows us to grow while staying close and strengthening our Philly roots.”
Think Company’s first Center City office is in the historic Packard Grande building.
The agency, which is currently at 76 full-time staffers, has some changes in store for that original Center City spot.
“We’re still working out the specifics,” continues Starke, “but we have exciting plans to use the Philly Think Space as an innovation lab with even more collaboration and event space — after we’ve completely settled into the new location.”
If you’ll remember, the Philadelphia Building used to be something of a tech hub that housed RJMetrics, Zivtech, Eight Eleven and coworking space Cultureworks. Now, only Cultureworks remains (and, of course, Think Company).
