We know South Philly designer Lorenzo Buffa is good at crowdfunding campaigns but can he also get that cash from investors on national TV?
Tune in to Lifetime’s Project Runway: Fashion Startup on Nov. 17 at 10:30 p.m. to find out, as Buffa makes the case for Analog Watch Co. before a panel of investors and fashion moguls.
“We filmed last spring and it was a unique journey, to say the least,” Buffa told Technical.ly. “It’s a new show, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, and while I had done a lot of preparation in terms of making sure my numbers and business details were solid, the show places more of an emphasis on the product idea and design.”
The #ProjectRunwayStartup investors have some great advice for these entrepreneurs, but will they listen? pic.twitter.com/aZHwmu3nmF

Buffa faced a Shark Tank-esque panel featuring the likes of Katia Beauchamp, cofounder and CEO of beauty retailer Birchbox, and fashion designer Rebecca Minkoff. To see if he was worth the term sheet, the panel made him go through a series of field tests.
So what happpened? Did he get an investment? Did the investors pass on making a deal? The entrepreneur said he couldn’t reveal any details about the final edit, so we’ll have to tune in and watch.
